Welcome to Browns Nursery.

We are a leading grower of Vireyas in New Zealand, with over 50 years of combined Vireya knowledge. We are both trained horticulturalists and our aim is to produce quality plants, which are accurately named, at an affordable price. We also aim to introduce new varieties as they become available, either our own or from other reputable sources.

This year we are pleased to introduce two new registered vireya hybrids that we have raised, 'Kiri' and 'Margaret Jane', as well as several new hybrids not raised by us. Also listed this year is Clivia miniata 'Santa Barbara Hybrid' which has bright orange red flowers with a yellow throat.

You are always welcome to visit our nursery, however please contact us in advance to arrange a suitable time.

Garden groups are also welcome to visit and we are happy to give talks about Vireyas and their culture either at the nursery or at your own venue. Please contact us to make arrangements.
