Welcome to Country Players in Wakefield, Nelson, New Zealand.

We are a community theatre group.   Country Players has been in Wakefield for over 50 years.  Check out our rich history and photographic memories.

We have strong link with our community and our Junior Country Players group.  It is our aim to produce two or three theatrical shows each year.  Our performances go from dramatic to comical to tragic and back again.  

Our current production is The Cemetery Club by Ivan Menchell.
