ministries I am involved with.
Conditional Immortality Association
I
currently serve as
President of the Conditional Immortality
Association of New Zealand which was formed as a non-denominational
organisation to promote greater understanding of Conditional Immortality
beliefs across all branches of the Christian church.
We have a quarterly magazine, "From Death To
Life", which is available for a small subscription (or free if you
would like it). As well as discussing various CI related issues our magazine
profiles ACMissioNZ and Carey
Park Christian Camp.
We carry a range of Conditional Immortality related
books and tracts. Warren Prestige's book "Life Death and Destiny"
was published by the CIA.
Advent Christian Conference of New Zealand
T
he Advent Christian
General Conference of America had a long standing partnership with New
Zealanders in world mission through the Churches of Christ (Life and Advent) .
It was only in December of 1998 that New Zealand formed its own Advent
Christian Conference of New Zealand (ACCONZ). As it happens I am President
of this organisation too.
So far we have five churches (including some very small
churches, one of which is a house church) as part of our Conference: Three in
South Auckland, one in Thames and one in Hamilton.
We are praying that these will be the basis of many
future church plants as part of a new Conditional Immortality denominational
work in New Zealand in cooperation with other Advent Christian groups around
the world.
We send regular newsletters to anyone interested in the
work of ACCONZ.
Advent Christian Missions New Zealand
L
astly, at the heart
of our purpose for beginning an Advent Christian Conference in New Zealand,
apart from the sheer pleasure of serving Christ and making him known in a
context where Conditional Immortality is believed and cherished, it is our
desire to raise support for ACMissioNZ.
ACMissioNZ currently has two Missionaries on the field.
Grant Aldridge serves in the Philippines.
Ernie Schache serves in India.
Both work alongside Advent Christian World Missions.
Regular 6-weekly gatherings are held in parts of
Auckland and in Hamilton to pray for missions.
ACMissioNZ
sends a
work team every year or so to either of the Philippines or India.
