God has his hand on our lives. Over a busy few years, we went from studying at Auckland University to studying at the Bible College of New Zealand. David became engaged to Tarnya in his first year at Bible  College ('92). We were married by the end of that year (05/12/92).

In  1994 our first child, Samuel, arrived and we moved to take up a pastoral position in Wellsford (about 1^1/2 hours north 1 of Auckland). After three years and two more children (in 1998), we came "home". David has lived most of his life in South Auckland and has been part of the Takanini Church of Christ for almost as long, though he hasn't always been the pastor. (He started Sunday School there when he was 3^1/2).

We now have seven beautiful children: Samuel (10 June 1994), Rachel (27 September 1995), Noah (20 February 1997), Jonathan (27 August 1999), Joseph (31 May 2001), Thomas (2 January 2003) and Timothy (14 September 2005).  

Tarnya home-schools the children, as well as managing our household, she is an indispensable help mate to David in his ministry. Among other things David pastors the Takanini Church of Christ (Life and Advent / Advent Christian) and is president of both the Advent Christian Conference of New Zealand and The Conditional Immortality Association of New Zealand.
