Some caution may need to be taken during the winter months as the last few meters are better suited to 4wd vehicles.
There's no question you can drive down to the field. You just may have a little trouble getting home again. Wouldn't that be a shame?
There is, however, plenty of safe easy parking on the ridge of the hill just 20 meters away.
