GWS F-15

Well I guess it was only a matter of time.

Finally went for a ducted fan model to try. Soon as this confounded weather clears (if ever???) I'll take it out and give it a try.
No undercarriage so I'll have to suck it up and just try giving it a toss. Not really something I'm looking forward to to much.

Till then I'll just have to sit and look at it.

Never flown a jet so this will be a first for me.
Depending how it goes I'll have a go at rebuilding another one but lighten it up and add retracts.

Yes, I actually got to fly it today.
Brilliant. It was a blast. First flight was off a dolly and that was just so simple it was almost a let down.
Flew it around doing normal sport maneuvers and then ...........dead stick! Flat battery.
And it just quietly glided down for a perfect landing.
Second and third flights were longer with throttle management at just over 6 minutes but
I hand launched it. To my surprise it just went off like an arrow. Excellent.
I'm going to enjoy this plane
