Submitting an article

If you wish to submit an article for display on this site, be sure your article meets the following guidelines...
  • Article MUST be bushball oriented (For example, big game reviews, field reviews, equipment reviews, tactics & theory etc). This website does NOT cater for tournament news and reviews.
  • Images supplied with article must be your own, or you must have the copyright owner's permission to use them.
  • Images supplied for use with the articles should be no more than 400 pixels wide. Graphic captions should use Arial font with a slight drop shadow. Use .jpg format.
  • Images supplied to become part of photo galleries should be of a reasonable size. Reasonable size is approximately 800x400 pixels and no bigger than 40kb per picture. (Use .jpg format)
  • Remember to include your name, or screen name, and the date the article was written.

All articles, including photos, can and will be subjected to editing to meet standard of spelling, language, punctuation, and filtering of inappropriate content. Basically what this means is if you put something in the article that's unbecoming of paintball in NZ, or not in the interests of paintball in NZ, I will edit/remove it.  

Also, be sure to check the content of existing articles before submitting one of your own. Ie- I'm not going to list multiple articles that cover the exact same topic. If on the other hand you can come up with a fresh way of looking at a topic which differs from the way an existing article is presented, then do that.

Questions or issues with content

With all the big games that happen, various people take various photos of these events. Sometimes there may be no issue with putting them online, and sometimes there might be. For example, a photograph of a person who doesn't wish thier face to be on a website for privacy reasons. Upon compiling photos and articles on this site, I do my utmost to respect this and prevent breaches of privacy and copyright, but ultimately it's impossible to keep track of 100%.

If you have an issue with the written content on the site, email me and I will take your complaint into consideration. If you have an issue with 1 or more photographs, once again, it will be taken into consideration.
