Opoutere is less than a 2 hour drive from Auckland (160km), Hamilton, or Tauranga.

From Thames take the Kopu-Hikuai Road (over the hill) and turn off towards Whangamata once you get to the other side of the Coromandel Ranges. After 15km turn left down Opoutere Road. The holiday house is in the main Opoutere township.

From Whanagamata drive north towards the Kopu-Hikuai Road and after 10km turn right down Opoutere Road. The holiday house is in the main Opoutere township.
