Instead of your Alarm Panel calling a monitoring station, for which you pay a monthly subscription charge plus the cost of any Patrol visits, your existing alarm is simply reprogrammed to call the ALARMTXT (c) service.

ALARMTXT (c) decodes the notification, converts it to a mobile phone SMS format, and sends it to Telecom or Vodafone to send to your mobile.

You can even retain your existing monitored alarm service, which is particularly useful when you need dual reporting (often necessary for insurance purposes).

Your alarm installer can also set up for you to be notified when specific users arm or disarm your Alarm - especially useful for children coming home after schools, baby-sitters, servicemen and cleaners who may have given a special code.

Any new Bosch alarm can be conncted. Most older Bosch alarms will work okay too, and just about any alarm using the Contact ID method.
