The Wanganui Aeromodellers Club is one of the oldest in New Zealand. It still has a core of 20 enthusiastic members flying a range of scale, ARTF, aerobatic aircraft and helicopters.

We enjoy the use of a wide open flying space with a well-maintained grass strip near the Wanganui Airport only just outside the city limits. There are separate sites nearby for thermal soaring.

Club flying every Sunday morning weather permitting and Saturday afternoons if no glider competitions are scheduled. New members and interested observers are always welcome.

Instructors and buddy-box systems available, so why not have a go??
