The following is some basic information and Ground Rules regarding our club.

 

1.      The club will not tolerate any bad behaviour on or off the field and any person identified as bringing the club into disrepute will appear before the club management committee.

 

2.      The clubrooms are open on Saturdays from approximately 1pm till 8pm or later depending on team support.

 

3.      All gear is the ownership of the Hornby Cricket Club and should be respected and looked after during the season.

 

4.      The Groundsman, Graham Walker, does his best to provide wickets of high standard. Any criticism should be addressed to the president or club captain – not directly to the Groundsman.

 

5.      Players should make themselves available to play for other teams if not playing in their own team when another team is short.

 

6.      There is to be No Drinking of Alcohol during the game.

 

7.      Team speeches will be held in the Clubrooms every Saturday night at 6.30pm (time may vary depending on the finishing times of games)

 

8.      Player of the Day prizes are awarded for each team. The Player has to be there to accept the award.

 

9.      A good standard of dress is expected on the playing field.

 

10.  All members must be financial with the club by 15th December 2011 – see your captain.  All senior subs to be paid to Steven Devereux.
